Who is responsible for this website?

Mocka Lounge is operated by Dejavu Cardiff Limited. This notice explains how we use information collected through mockalounge.com, including enquiries and optional website and advertising measurement.

Contact us about your information at info@mockalounge.com, or write to Mocka Lounge, 1–2 Mill Lane, Cardiff, CF10 1FL.

Enquiries and bookings

When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred date, group size, party requirements and message. We use these to answer you, check availability and arrange your booking. We may record your booking reference, whether the booking was confirmed or attended, and its agreed value and actual spend.

We use this information to take steps at your request before a booking and to provide an agreed booking. We also have legitimate interests in administering enquiries, preventing misuse, maintaining appropriate business records and understanding our business. Please avoid including payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in an enquiry.

Your enquiry is stored in our website system and is emailed to the venue team. Sending an enquiry does not confirm a booking.

Marketing emails are optional

If you choose our separate marketing opt-in, we use your details to send the updates, offers and event information described beside that checkbox. You do not have to opt in to send an enquiry or make a booking. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact us. We retain a minimal suppression record where needed to respect an unsubscribe request.

Your cookie choices

Essential cookies support security, requested website functions and remembering your privacy choices. Optional analytics and advertising categories are off until you choose them. You may accept all, reject optional cookies or manage the categories separately. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from submitting an enquiry.

Your choice is remembered for up to 180 days, unless you clear your browser cookies, change your choice or we need to ask again after a material change. Cookie settings are also available at the bottom of the website.

Analytics

With your analytics choice enabled, Google Analytics measures visits, page interactions and successful enquiry submissions. This helps us improve the website. We do not send customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or enquiry messages as Analytics event fields. Google may process browser/device information, online identifiers and measurement data under its own service arrangements.

Advertising measurement and booking outcomes

With advertising measurement enabled, we may retain the Google ad-click reference associated with an enquiry. Where booking-outcome imports are enabled, we use that reference to report a confirmed booking or attendance and the actual spend to Google Ads, so we can assess which advertising results in business. The import can include the ad reference, conversion date, an enquiry reference and the relevant booking or spend value. We do not need to send the enquiry message or customer contact details for this click-reference method.

Advertising measurement is separate from signing up for emails. We record the advertising choice with the enquiry and use it to decide whether the enquiry is eligible for booking-outcome reporting. Declining or withdrawing this choice does not affect your enquiry or booking. To withdraw a choice linked to a previous enquiry, change Cookie settings on the same browser or contact us so we can identify the relevant record.

Google Ads and Analytics are separate from our internal booking register. An enquiry, agreed booking value and actual settled spend are distinct records; an enquiry is not treated as a sale. No Meta pixel is added as part of this consent setup.

Cookies and references used

  • pressidium_cookie_consent: remembers your categories, consent reference and notice revision, for up to 180 days.
  • wp_consent_*: communicates privacy choices between compatible WordPress tools.
  • _ga and _ga_*: Google Analytics measurement cookies, allowed only with analytics enabled; Google may retain these for up to two years, subject to its settings and browser limits.
  • _gcl_*: Google advertising measurement cookies, where used and allowed; commonly up to 90 days.
  • Ad-click references such as GCLID: read from a tagged visit and retained with an enquiry only when advertising measurement is allowed. This enquiry integration does not add its own persistent click-reference cookie.

We retain a local record of privacy choices, which can include a consent reference, date, accepted categories, page address and technical information such as IP address and browser details. This helps us demonstrate and respect your choice. Administrators’ WordPress login/security cookies are separate from optional customer tracking.

Who helps us process information?

Access is limited to the venue team and authorised service providers supporting the website, email and business administration. These include our website/marketing support provider Chameleon Marketing Services, Kinsta for website hosting, Google for business email and permitted measurement, and Amazon Web Services for outgoing website emails. Fluent Forms and FluentCRM support our website enquiry and marketing systems.

Google and Amazon operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. Their privacy and transfer information is available at Google Business privacy and AWS Privacy. Contact us for information about the providers used for your enquiry.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond, provide and administer the booking, resolve relevant issues and meet record-keeping obligations. Marketing information is kept while the subscription remains active, with suppression information retained to honour objections. Consent records are kept for the period needed to demonstrate and manage the choices that apply to our processing. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion where applicable.

Your rights and questions

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw optional consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal. Some information may need to be retained for legal or legitimate record-keeping reasons.
